Ok, so you’ve reached out to an investor, either directly or through an introduction, and now the investor expresses interest in meeting you. That’s great.

But there is still a bit more you need to do to make sure the call actually happens, with the best outcomes.

In general, there is a simple rule of thumb that you should use here. Behave as you would expect from a professional who takes a lot of meetings and has access to many opportunities.
